When you see the 8 of Cups, know that what you are leaving behind wasn’t bad, necessarily, but it’s not who you are “becoming” … and that’s important to understand. You’re growing and changing and the old relationships, jobs or love affairs just aren’t cutting it anymore. In many ways, I see this as the quintessential “Spiritual Path” card… you’ve decided — and you’re ready for whatever comes next. In the reverse, there’s fear about leaving something behind. They weren’t that bad you rationalize. But very soon, you’ll be right back at this cross roads. In terms of healing, leaving things and people behind can be emotionally challenging… that’s where you need to start your healing work. And work… backwards.
